Linux and Huawei

That can't be good

I’m reading Holstein and McLaughlin’s 2023 book, “Battlefield Cyber: How China and Russia are Undermining Our Democracy and National Security.”

They say something that really made me pause:

“The U.S. Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) recognizes that the Linux kernel could be the source of major vulnerabilities because Huawei has been one of the largest contributors to updating and maintaining it.

That can’t be good.
